Rewey Man Arrested For Driving While Revoked

Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on Keough Springs Road in the Township of Linden Wednesday around 12:30pm. The driver was identified as 75 year old John Spensley of Rewey. Spensley’s driving status is revoked and he was taken into custody on charges of Operating While Revoked and Ignition Interlock Device Tampering/Failure to Install an Ignition Interlock Device and Violating a Court Order. Spensley was booked into the Iowa County Jail where he remains in custody.
