A Hazel Green teenager suffered minor injuries after she flipped her vehicle upside down in a creek, but was able to escape. The Grant County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened Sunday morning around 9:15am on County Road D near Cuba City. Authorities say 18-year old Heather Hinman went around a curve and lost control going into the ditch and the vehicle ended up on its roof in a creek. Hinman crawled out of the vehicle and a passing motorist was able to help her and call the sheriff’s department. Hinman was taken to Southwest Health Center. No charges have been filed.
