Minor Two Vehicle Accident in Willow Springs Township

A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s department responded to Highway 23 in Willow Springs Township Tuesday around 3:15pm for a minor two vehicle accident. 49 year old Patrick Meylor of Mineral Point was traveling northbound on Highway 23 in his vehicle. 80 year old Carol Getman of Mineral Point was also traveling northbound on Highway 23 in her 2016 Jeep. While Getman was attempting to turn onto Godfrey Road, Meylor rear ended her vehicle. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were driven from the scene. Meylor was cited for No Proof of Insurance.
