According to Vernon County Sheriff Roy Torgerson, officials responded to reports of a single vehicle crash on State Highway 35 in the Town of Bergen around 7:40 a.m. The driver reportedly had a medical event while driving. That resulted in the vehicle crossing the centerline, and then going into a ditch and hitting a tree. All of the vehicle’s three occupants were injured and taken to Gundersen Health System.
