Arrest in South Wayne on Warrant

Deputies with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to South Division Street in the Village of South Wayne around 4:15am Monday for a check welfare. As a result, 20 year old Zachary Blackwood of South Wayne was arrested on a valid Department of Corrections warrant. Blackwood was taken to the Green County Jail where he was booked. South Wayne First Response and Green County EMS assisted.
