The Iowa County Highway Shop and Iowa County Sheriff’s Office are warning of serious travel conditions. Conditions are looking like after dark you will have zero visibility. At this time, the Highway Shop is doing the best they can, however with winds and heavy snow falling it is still making roads dangerous. We have been and currently are dealing with semi’s stuck, slide offs, and vehicles stuck in middle of intersections. Help us by staying home if your able to.
UPDATE: We will evaluate each slide off to determine if it is safe to tow the vehicle out. Currently, Highway Shop Personal is advising white out conditions. If it is not safe to remove, vehicle will remain in the ditch.
