The total number of calls Grant County dispatch entered was 36,262 which is an average of 99.35 calls a day. Of those calls Grant County Sheriffs handled 14,262, which was an average of 39.07 calls per day. The 911 Dispatch center averaged 1.57 calls an hour (total: 13,780). The sheriffs responded to 1,422 car crashes, with 5 fatal accidents and 14 UTV crashes with one fatal crash. Also, the jail saw 1,194 bookings and the average inmate population per day was 43.
