Police said four people were injured in a crash Thursday in downtown Dubuque. 38-year-old Nathan H. Lang and 16-year-old Jovon Morris, both of Dubuque, were taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center. 35-year-old Kimberly Leute of Dubuque, was taken by ambulance to UnityPoint Health-Finley Hospital, and 30-year-old Ronzell Hayes of Dubuque, was injured but declined transport to a hospital. The crash happened at about 7:20 p.m. Thursday at the intersection of Central Avenue and 24th Street. The crash report states that the vehicle driven by Lang, in which Morris was a passenger, was traveling west on 24th Street, and the vehicle driven by Leute, in which Hayes was a passenger, was traveling north on Central. Lang attempted to turn left onto Central Avenue, striking Leute’s vehicle broadside. Lang was cited with failure to obey a stop or yield sign.
