Wisconsin U-S Senator Tammy Baldwin has announced the City of Lancaster has been awarded a grant for remodeling the Fire Station. Lancaster Fire Chief Steve Braun says the application was submitted in February of 2023 and is from the Community Project Funding Program.

The City of Lancaster’s share of the project is $495 thousand. The combined share for the North Lancaster, South Lancaster and portions of the Ellenboro, Beetown and Little Grant Townships is $330 thousand
