On Sunday at approximately 3:38pm a Grant County Deputy came across a motorcycle traveling westbound at 105 MPH on Hwy 81 near Bluff Rd in Ellenboro. Other Grant County Deputies and Lancaster PD were able to set up and get the motorcycle stopped on Hwy 61 near Hwy 129. After a brief investigation, the operator, 47-year-old Michael Miller, from Leaf River, IL, was discovered to be impaired and arrested for OWI, first offense. Miller told deputies he was traveling from Leaf River, IL to a town in MN. After the arrest Miller was transported to the Grant County Jail. Miller was also cited for traveling more than 45+ MPH over the speed limit 55 MPH zone.
