Dubuque City Council Member Susan Farber has been named to the Federal Communications Commission’s Intergovernmental Advisory Committee. The committee provides guidance and recommendations to the FCC on telecommunications issues impacting local, county, state and tribal governments, a press release states. Farber will be one of 30 committee members representing 20 states and the District of Columbia. The committee will hold its first meeting April 18, and members will serve two-year terms.Â
