Darlington surveying water service lines

The City of Darlington is informing residents that personnel from the Water Department will be going door-to-door in the following weeks to perform a brief survey verifying what type of water service line is at each residence.  This survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete, and the Water Department Personnel will need access to your basement. This survey will verify if a residence have copper, lead, galvanized or PVC service lines in their home. If you need to schedule a selected time to have this survey done contact the Director of Public Works.
