Sen. Marklein awarded Legislative Leadership Torchbearer Award

Senator Howard Marklein was presented the “Legislative Leadership Torchbearer Award” by Wisconsin’s Child Advocacy Centers and Green County Child Advocacy Center. Green County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Coordinator Stephanie King presented the award to Senator Marklein, in recognition of his efforts to increase state funding for child advocacy centers (CACs) and support legislation benefiting CACs across Wisconsin. King, thanked Senator Marklein for his advocacy, saying “Senator Marklein took the time to listen, learn, and truly understand how Child Advocacy Centers support law enforcement, child welfare, and families in crisis. His thoughtful engagement and commitment to solutions demonstrate what meaningful leadership looks like when it comes to protecting Wisconsin’s children.”
