One arrested on drug charges following traffic stop

One person was arrested following a traffic stop in Iowa County. Wednesday evening, an Iowa County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop on Lisa Street near the intersection of Highway 18 in Dodgeville. The operator, 38-year-old Anthony T Williams was arrested on criminal charges of Operating After Revocation (due to prior OWI conviction), Failure to Install Ignition Interlock Device, Possession with Intent to Deliver – THC, Possession of Narcotic Drugs and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Williams was transported to the Iowa County Jail.
