Iowa County 911 call volume

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Department is reporting an increase of 2,294 calls to their 911 communication center from last year. This year, the Iowa County Communication Center has received 11,851 calls for service and they received 9,557 calls in 2025. The leading calls for service last week from May 24-30 were 94 Traffic Stops (TSTOP), 42 911 misdials, 39 EMS calls, 28 animal issues, and 26 controlled burns.
