Juvenile riding bike struck by vehicle in Richland County

Late Tuesday morning emergency responders were dispatched to the intersection of County Highway RC and Raymond Lane in Richland County for a report of a vehicle versus bicycle crash. A truck traveling on County RC attempted to navigate around a juvenile who was riding a bicycle on County RC. The juvenile veered into the lane of traffic and the operator of the truck was unable to avoid the bicycle. The juvenile was transported to Richland Hospital and subsequently transported by Med Flight to the University of Wisconsin Hospital for further medical care. The crash remains under investigation. No additional information is being released at this time.
