Sunday evening a Lafayette County deputy on patrol conducted a traffic stop in Willow Springs on a vehicle that appeared to have been involved in an accident. After investigation, 33-year-old Orlin C. Lopez-Pena of Darlington was arrested for Operating after Revocation and Operating while Intoxicated – Second Offense. He was also cited for Hit-and-Run Property Adjacent to Highway, Operating without Insurance, and Failure to Notify Police of an Accident. Lopez-Pena was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and later released to a responsible party.
