Iowa County Sheriff assigns Deputy to patrol Ridgeway

The Iowa County Sheriff’s Office is partnering with the Village of Ridgeway following the retirement of Michael Gorham. Under a service contract, policing int he Ridgeway will shift to the Iowa County Sheriff’s Department. In a social media post, the Sheriff’s Department announced that  Deputy Alex Cejpek [say-peck] will be assigned to Ridgeway on a temporary basis, approximately 32 hours a week, through the beginning of July. Deputy Cejpek while the department prepares for the assignment of a long-term deputy who will serve the Village of Ridgeway beginning in July.
