Poll shows Crowley leading against Tiffany in race for governor

A recent Badger Battleground Poll is showing an early, but narrow lead for Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley over Congressman Tom Tiffany ahead of the November general election.  500 likely general election voters were interviewed over the phone on August 12 and 13 immediately following the Democratic and Republican primaries conclusion. In this latest survey, Crowley leads Tiffany 48% to 44% statewide in the initial gubernatorial ballot test. According to those polled, Tiffany is seen as favorable by 38% of voters and unfavorable by 43%, while Crowley is seen favorably by 43% of voters and unfavorably by 26%. 31% said they did not know enough to form an opinion.
