Two arrested for OWI during traffic stops on Saturday

Two people were arrested for OWI Saturday during two different traffic stops. The first stop occurred at 6:15 AM on Cottage Inn RD in Kendall Township following a suspicious activity call. 22-year-old Shane M. Freiburger of Mineral Point was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated 2nd Offense. The second arrest occurred at 11:46 PM on Highway 126 in Belmont. 36–year-old Jacob D. Shiner of Mineral Point was cited for Operating While Intoxicated 1st Offense.
