Belmont woman arrested for OWI following crash

A woman from Belmont was arrested for OWI in Grant County following a single vehicle crash. Emergency personnel responded to County O, in Harrison Township just before 1 AM on Sunday. 37-year-old Jessica Kieler of Belmont, was east bound on County Highway O when she drifted off the roadway into the ditch, continuing parallel to the roadway. The vehicle then struck a series of trees before going down a steep hill, and coming to rest against a tree. Kieler was uninjured in the crash, but her vehicle sustained disabling damage. During the course of the investigation, Deputies determined Kieler was under the influence of alcohol. Kieler was ultimately arrested and cited for OWI 1st Offense and failure to maintain control.
