Prairie du Chien fire Department awarded grant for ‘Jaws of Life’ cutting tool

The Prairie du Chien Fire Department has been awarded a grant to be used to purchase life-saving equipment, according to a Facebook post. The department was recently awarded a $7,500 Emergency First Responder Grant by Compeer Financial. The money will be used to purchase a battery-powered ‘Jaws of Life’ cutting tool.
