RAGBRAI awards Dubuque $50,000 check

This year’s near-400 mile RAGBRAI concluded in Dubuque on Saturday. The Register’s Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa last ended in Dubuque in 2010. Anywhere between 25,000 and 40,000 bikers came through Dubuque. A Facebook post from the official RAGBRAI page says RAGBRAI presented Dubuque Mayor Brad Cavanagh with a $50,000 check.
