Sunday morning the Grant County Sheriff’s Office received a 9-1-1 call regarding a person who was injured, over an embankment, somewhere on Dry Hollow Rd, outside of Bagley. The caller said her husband was involved in a UTV crash. Personnel from Bagley First Responders located, the driver, Dale Wood, 72, of Bagley, in his rolled over UTV that appeared to have gone about 20-25 feet down the embankment. Personnel on scene freed Wood from the UTV, and he was transported to Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster for minor injuries. The Sheriff’s Office was able to determine that Wood had been backing his UTV near a wood pile on his property, when his UTV continue backward, over the embankment, causing it to roll several times. The matter has been forwarded to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Conservation Wardens.
