Drug arrest made during Iowa County traffic stop

One person was arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in Iowa County Tuesday evening. The  traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of Highway 18-151 and Hi Point Road. As a result, 61-year-old Charles Barrett was arrested for Operating While Revoked, Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Bail Jumping, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and Possession or attempted possession of a controlled substance.
