A Dodgeville man was arrested for the second time within 25 hours in Ridgeway. 61-year-old Charles Barrett of Dodgeville was originally arrested on Tuesday for operating after revocation. During that traffic stop drugs were located and he was also charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Bail Jumping, Maintaining a Drug Trafficking Place, and Possession of a Controlled Substance On or Near Certain Places. He was released on signature bond Wednesday afternoon. On Thursday afternoon Barrett was stopped again on Main Street in Ridgeway after a deputy familiar with Barrett recognized him driving while with a revoked license due to a previous OWI conviction. Barrett was taken into custody again and transported to the Iowa County Jail on charges of Operating While Revoked and two counts of Felony Bail Jumping.
