U-S Senator Ron Johnson is one of the authors of new legislation which would let a federal agency warn companies they might be attacked online. The Wisconsin Republican is working with New Hampshire Democrat Maggie Hassan on the bill. It would let the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency subpoena companies that might face pending attacks. Johnson says this would help the companies take defensive action even before they are victimized.
