Grant County officials have arrested 3 people in Platteville on drug charges. Deputies arrived at a residence on South Court Street Thursday around 8:45am to serve an eviction on the residents living there. While serving the eviction, a meth pipe was discovered by deputies. A search of the apartment was conducted and several other items of drug paraphernalia were discovered throughout the residence. 42 year old Katherine Deckert of Platteville was arrested on a Probation Hold and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; 47 year old Ryan Deckert of Platteville, was arrested on Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; and 32 year old Christopher Vinson of Platteville, was arrested on outstanding felony warrants through Lafayette County, multiple counts of Felony Bail Jumping, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. The Sherriff’s Office was assisted by the Richland, Iowa, Grant Drug Task Force and the Platteville Police Department. Individuals were taken to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office where they remain waiting court proceedings.
