New Scholarship Honors Galena Teacher Who Died in December

A new scholarship will honor a Galena educator who died in a car accident in December. The Sandra Zink Memorial Scholarship was created by the Galena Federation of Teachers and the Community Foundation of Jo Daviess County as a way to honor her .Sources say the $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to Galena High School students who have an interest in pursuing science or education studies.
