Although monitoring for the coronavirus continues at UW-Platteville, university officials say none of the six students who recently visited China are showing signs of the disease. Those students were screened upon arrival at O’Hare International Airport in Chicago a week ago. The university began monitoring the students as a precaution. UWP staff says the six students live in the same building – but aren’t under any type of quarantine. State health officials are working with local and federal organizations to monitor the coronavirus – which is believed to have originated in Wuhan, China where the students had been visiting.
