A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to Mitchell Hollow Road in Belmont Township Thursday shortly after 5am for a vehicle in the ditch. As a result, 24 year old Cheyenne Bottomley of Platteville was arrested for OWI – Second Offense and released to a responsible party. Bottomley was also cited for Failure to Maintain Control. Bottomley’s passenger, 27 year old Jacob McPhail of Platteville was cited for Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle. The Grant County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
