UW- Platteville officials have confirmed that three wrestling team coaches are no longer employed by the university amid ongoing NCAA investigations into the program. According to University spokesperson Paul Erickson, Head Coach Trevor Kittleson, Assistant Matthew Randone and assistant Edward Smith are no longer employed at the school. Officials did not provide any information on the nature of the employment changes. Erickson stated that due to NCAA investigations into the wrestling program, the school cannot comment any further on the matter. Former Pioneer Head Coach and Wisconsin Badgers wrestling captain Chris Walter is serving as the acting head coach for the team’s upcoming Division III regionals and nationals. Kittleson, Randone, and Smith were removed from their coaching positions on January 25th.
