Groundbreaking For New Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County

A groundbreaking celebration for Memorial Hospital of Lafayette County’s new $64.8 facility will take place at 1:30 p.m. today at the site of the new hospital at the intersection of Highway 23 and County Highway K in Darlington. Keynote speakers will include U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, State Senator Howard Marklein of Spring Green; and state Rep. Todd Novak of Dodgeville. Construction already has begun on the new hospital, which is expected to be completed in fall of 2024. The current facility on Clay Street will remain in operation during construction.
