A man from Darlington was arrested in Green County Saturday for his 2nd offense of OWI. Around 9:25pm, Deputies with the Green County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Highway 11, in the Town of Sylvester, for traveling 86 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone. An investigation resulted in 24 year old Orlin Lopez–Quintanilla of Darlington being arrested for Operating While Under the Influence, 2nd-offense with a passenger under the age of 16. Quintanilla was further cited for speeding, Violation of Child Safety Restraint-Child Under 4 years old, and Operating without a Valid License. Quintanilla was taken to the Green County Jail and remains there pending court.
