A truck pulling a boat crashed in Blue River on Sunday. According to a report from the Grant County Sheriff’s office, 16 year old Kaden Currier of Muscoda was traveling east on Exchange Street in Blue River in a truck that was pulling a boat owned by Tad Bomkamp of Muscoda. Currier fell asleep and struck a car that was parked on the north side of the street. The legally parked car was owned by Mary Markin of Blue River. The truck continued east and came to rest on the sidewalk. The boat and trailer disconnected from the truck when it crashed. Minor injuries were reported by Currier, the driver of the truck, and a 16 year old passenger. Currier as cited for inattentive driving. The Grant County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Blue River EMS, Blue River Fire, Terry’s Towing of Boscobel, and VP Towing of Muscoda.
