The Darlington Police Department made two arrests last week in two separate incidents. 55 year old Steven Lauritz of Darlington, was arrested Friday, July 28, at 11:45 AM, for disorderly conduct and a valid probation hold. The arrest was a result of an investigation into a disturbance at a restaurant in the city the previous afternoon. On Sunday July 30, Darlington Police arrested 55 year old Mary E. Loomis of Madison. Loomis was arrested on a valid probation hold following a traffic stop on Ames Road. Charges of possession of cocaine, possession of THC, possession of drug paraphernalia, and felony bail jumping are also being referred to the Lafayette County District Attorney’s Office for review.
