A deputy from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s office responded to County Highway W in New Diggings Township for a one vehicle accident Sunday around Noon. 48 year old Russell Clendenen of Benton was traveling on County Highway W when he lost control of his vehicle. He went into the ditch, through a fence, and struck a tree. No injuries were reported.
