Two Vehicle Accident in Lafayette County

A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s department responded to Highway 81 in Seymour Township for a two vehicle accident around 6pm Thursday. 44 year old Parth Patel of Platteville was traveling westbound on Highway 81 when he slowed to make a left turn and was struck by a vehicle being driven by 20 year old Daniel Cwinski of Aurora, Illinois. No injuries were reported and Patel’s vehicle was driven from the scene with moderate damage. Cwinski’s vehicle was towed from the scene with disabling damage and he was also cited for following too closely.
