The Platteville Public Library is collaborating with the Southwest Opportunities Center, Inc. to provide a Shredding Drop-off site now thru Sunday, October 15th. Members of the public are invited to bring up to 2 grocery bags or 1 bankers box of papers for destruction. A secure container will be available to keep documents safe and confidential until destruction. The storage container and destruction services are provided by Southwest Opportunities Center, an agency that provides employment for adults with different abilities and that offers shredding, production, and cleaning services to area businesses. This free event is intended to help the public maintain the privacy and security of their financial documents and other personal papers.
