A Platteville man has pleaded guilty to leading officers on a high-speed chase on a Grant County road. 25 year old Trevor Baker pleaded guilty in Grant County Circuit Court to charges of eluding an officer and possession of THC. A sentencing hearing is set for November 15th. According to a prior release from the Grant County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy attempted to stop Baker for speeding on June 13th on County Highway F in Liberty Township near Stitzer. Baker’s vehicle rapidly accelerated and passed a vehicle in a no passing zone. Baker then traveled north on County Highway F toward Highway 18 at speeds reaching around 100 mph.
