East Dubuque Nitrogen Fertilizer Company Shows Income Increase

The parent company of an East Dubuque nitrogen fertilizer facility has reported a quarterly, year-over-year increase in income. CVR Partners reported a net income of $1 million on net sales of $131 million in the third quarter of 2023, compared to a net loss of $20 million on net sales of $156 million for the same quarter of 2022. A report says the company posted solid operating results for the third quarter with a combined ammonia production rate of 99% at its two facilities.
