An Illinois man has been sentenced to two to five years of probation for a 2021 burglary from a Dubuque restaurant. 51 year old Todd Lazio of Sterling, Ill., received the sentence from Iowa District Court Judge Michael Shubatt in Iowa District Court of Dubuque County after pleading guilty to one count of third-degree burglary. Reports say that Lazio, then of Dubuque, broke into Applebee’s Neighborhood Bar & Grill, the night of September 6, 2021, and stole bank bags containing over $3,600 from the safe. Lazio formerly was employed at the business as a manager.
