Police say a Dubuque man pulled a knife during a physical altercation. 51-year-old Mirsad Masinovic of Dubuque was arrested Thursday at 8:27 p.m. on a warrant charging going armed with intent, a Class D felony, and disorderly conduct. Court documents state shortly before 6 p.m. on Nov. 13, Masinovic was at his sister’s residence with a group of people that included 54-year-old Samir Villic, of Dubuque, when the two men began arguing over requests for Villic to leave the residence. Villic was eventually removed from the house by his son. As Villic walked to his vehicle, a witness stated a verbal argument between the two men continued until Villic punched Masinovic, documents state. Video captured by a witness at the scene shows after Villic punched Masinovic, Masinovic got up off the ground with a knife in his hand and rushed toward Villic before the two were separated by others at the scene.
