A man charged with a myriad of animal abuse charges after 200 goats died in his care pleaded guilty Monday afternoon in Lafayette County court. Darlington couple Kyle and Stephanie Lincicum are charged with 20 counts of mistreatment of animals, 20 counts of intentionally failing to provide food for an animal, along with timely disposition of known carcasses and theft. Court records show Kyle Lincicum pleaded guilty to 10 counts of animal mistreatment, 10 counts of intentionally failing to provide food for an animal and one count of failing to dispose of a carcass in a timely manner. He also pleaded guilty to transferring another’s personal property and theft. Kyle Lincicum is scheduled to appear in February 2024 for sentencing. Stephanie Lincicum is scheduled to appear for a plea/sentencing hearing in January 2024.
