Man From Gratiot Arrested For 2nd OWI Offense

Green County EMS, Gratiot First Response, and a deputy from the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to Highway 78 in Gratiot Township for a one vehicle accident around 2:30am Monday. 29 year old Coltin Piefer of Gratiot lost control of his vehicle and struck a pole in a ditch. Piefer denied injuries and his 2014 Cadillac had disabling damage and was towed from the scene. As a result, Piefer was arrested for OWI–2nd offense and taken to the Lafayette County Jail where he was booked and released.
