Gas Leak in Dodgeville

Officials are urging people Wednesday afternoon to avoid downtown Dodgeville due to a gas leak. Iowa County Emergency Management sent out an alert around 12:10 p.m., saying emergency units were responding to the 100 block of North Iowa Street. A second alert sent out minutes later asked people to avoid the whole downtown area. The agency indicated there are detours in place.
