A new K-9 who will help investigators with internet crimes was introduced Wednesday. Attorney General Josh Kaul announced the addition of K-9 Moose, who will join the Wisconsin Department of Justice Division of Criminal Investigation. Moose is nearly two years old and specializes in electronic storage detection (ESD). Moose and his handler, Special Agent Alexander Bol, are assigned to assist with Internet Crimes Against Children investigations. However, ESD canines have been useful in a variety of investigations. Moose can also comfort children during investigations and court proceedings. Special Agent Bol and Moose are based out of DCI’s Madison field office; however, they travel around the state to assist where they’re needed.
