The Iowa County Health Department, Iowa County Land Conservation Department, and other partners have announced activities to celebrate National Groundwater Awareness Week March 10 to March 16. The Health Department is now a DATCP-certified water testing laboratory and can test your water for coliform bacteria and E. coli at their lab in Dodgeville. They partner with an outside lab at UW–Oshkosh to test for nitrates, arsenic and lead. The first 24 people to sample and return their water to the lab get $24 off a test kit! The Test Kit includes bacteria, nitrate, arsenic and lead water testing bottles.
