Two Arrested After Shots Fired in Ontario

Two people are in custody following a shots-fired call Monday morning. The call came in shortly after 8 a.m. Monday morning. Authorities said the woman on the line whispered the words “shots fired” before hanging up. The incident happened at Hoff Valley Road in Ontario. According to Sheriff Roy Torgerson, mental health is likely a factor. A perimeter was established around the residence and the incident was contained to a small area. The investigation is ongoing. Authorities said they are waiting on a search warrant to look for evidence of guns and ammunition.
