Monday’s unseasonably warm weather broke Dubuque high-temperature records both for Feb. 26 and the entire month. Officials with the Quad Cities office of the National Weather Service said the temperature in Dubuque was 72 degrees as of just before 4 p.m. The previous record for Feb. 26 was 62 degrees, set in 1896. Meanwhile, the previous record-high temperature for any day in the month of February was 71 degrees, set on Feb. 22, 2017. Other Iowa cities also broke high-temperature records for Monday’s date, including Cedar Rapids and Burlington.
